About this service
The little jobs that never quite get done: battery smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, toilet roll holders, towel rails, hooks and coat racks. A battery smoke or CO alarm is £15, most other small fixtures are £15 to £20, and a window handle is from £35, supplied and fitted. On their own they're under my £65 minimum, so they're ideal for adding to a bigger visit.

How much does it cost to fit a smoke alarm?
£15 for a battery smoke alarm or carbon monoxide alarm. On their own, small jobs come under my £65 minimum, so they're best added to a bigger visit.
Can you fit mains-wired smoke alarms?
No. I fit battery alarms only. Mains-wired alarms need a qualified electrician, and I can recommend a trusted specialist.
Can you fit a towel rail or toilet roll holder?
Yes. A towel rail, toilet roll holder, hooks or a coat rack are £15 to £20 each, with fixings included.
Can you replace a window handle?
Yes. A window handle is from £35, supplied and fitted. The price depends on the type of handle your window needs.
Can you drill into bathroom tiles?
Yes. I use the right bits for tiles, so they don't crack.
